About the Author
Lindsey Anderson Rios is an Ohio-born, Wisconsin-based journalist and author who holds a bachelor’s degree in art history from Colby College and has received several Excellence in Journalism awards from her state press club. She lives with her husband and dog in a century-old home in Milwaukee that they’re slowly fixing up together, and when she’s not writing or reading, she can often be found wrestling with wallpaper rolls or swapping out switch plates.
Her debut novel, Winter at World's End, is a romantic dystopian thriller about two unlikely allies who must cross a thousand miles of treacherous Alaskan tundra to retrieve a medicine that could save their people from a sentient fungal parasite and the death cultists who worship it.
The book will be published in April of 2027 by Penguin Random House in the US and Scholastic in the UK. Translation rights have also been sold to Gallmeister in France.
She is represented by Catherine Cho at Paper Literary.
