About Me

I'm a writer who lives in Wisconsin with my husband and dog. When I was younger and cooler, I played roller derby and moonlighted as a semi-professional burlesque dancer. Now I mostly stay home and read.​  

My debut novel, WINTER AT WORLD'S END, is a dystopian thriller about two unlikely allies who must trek across the Alaskan tundra to cure a disease that's rapidly corrupting their memories. It’s loosely inspired by the 1925 Serum Run to Nome, a real-life event that sparked the creation of Alaska's iconic sled dog race, the Iditarod.​

The book will be published in April of 2027 by Penguin Random House in the US and Scholastic in the UK. Translation rights have also been sold to Gallmeister in France.
